Les Petits Chefs is a family business serving nutritious meals to toddlers in daycares and kids in elementary schools. At Libéo, where I was a front-end developer, we built them an e-commerce platform that brings together sales to parents (B2C) and to schools and daycares (B2B), and also works as the company’s custom ERP.
For customers
- Ordering meals online, with a cart.
- Allergy management from the ingredients: an alert shows when a chosen meal contains an allergen.
- Order cancellations and refunds, and cancelling a meal for a given day.
For the company
- Kitchen operations management, with automation tools.
- Customer service and order error handling.
- Detailed sales and operations reports.
- Security and employee permissions.
Under the hood
A Laravel back end, a Vue.js and Nuxt.js front end with Bootstrap, all deployed in Docker containers.
According to Libéo’s case study, more than 1,250,000 meals were delivered across Quebec in 2021, up more than 500% in 5 years.
